Reclaimed wood naturally carries the character of its previous life, so splits, knots, holes, saw marks, the occasional old nail and other unique markings should be expected and enjoyed as part of its authentic look. In some cases holes will be filled to ensure the stability of the wood. You will see nail pin holes in the wood where pieces are joined together. Each piece will be totally unique. Our product photos are just an example of the type of finish you will receive.

About this Product

Take a seat on the stylish side – this reclaimed wood stool is more than happy to moonlight as a side table.

The Lakdi Reclaimed Wood Stool Side Table is a simple piece of furniture with plenty of character in the timber. Made from reclaimed wood, it has a warm brown finish that allows the original grain, knots, splits, saw marks and previous-life markings to remain visible rather than hiding them away.

Its chunky rectangular top sits over four angled timber legs, joined by solid wooden cross supports. The straightforward construction gives this rustic wooden stool a sturdy, unfussy appearance that works particularly well alongside industrial, rustic and more relaxed contemporary interiors.

Part stool, part reclaimed wood side table, its narrow shape makes it particularly useful around the home. Place it beside a bed as an alternative rustic bedside table, use it next to an armchair for a lamp and your latest read, or add it to a hallway as a handy surface for everyday bits and pieces. It could also work as a small occasional table where a conventional side table feels too bulky.

Short on space but still need somewhere for your bedside essentials? This wooden stool side table gives you a useful surface for a lamp, phone, book and glass of water without introducing a large bedside cabinet into the room.

For styling, keep things fairly simple and allow the reclaimed timber to do most of the talking. Next to a bed, try a stoneware lamp with neutral linen bedding. In a living room, pair it with a relaxed armchair, textured rug and matt black accessories for an easy industrial rustic look. You could also top it with a plant or ceramic pot when using it as a small accent table.

As every piece is made using reclaimed timber, variations in grain, colour, knots, small splits and markings are to be expected. They are all part of what makes each stool slightly different from the next.

The Lakdi Reclaimed Wood Stool Side Table would suit anyone looking for compact, versatile furniture without the overly polished look of new timber. It's especially well suited to rustic bedrooms, industrial-inspired living spaces, country interiors and homes where natural materials and simple furniture are the order of the day.
